Our December ‘21 Newsletter is out

Hospice West Auckland's December '21 Newsletter is here.

As we are nearing Christmas, our palliative care doctor Dr Celia Palmer reflects on caring for the terminally ill and their families amidst COVID-19 protection measures.

You will learn about the Hospice journey of Nicki, a 52-year-old mother of three young men. You will get to know Doug Leighton, inventor of New Zealand's famous Bürgen bread and carer of his wife Glenys; Emma Haslam, our Rongoā Māori (traditional Māori medicine) practitioner, and our amazing fundraiser Deb Moncur who is riding her bike from Cape Reinga to Bluff to raise awareness and funds for Hospice.

Please enjoy, and share the newsletter with those who will appreciate the incredible work Hospice does.
