Payroll giving lets you donate to us directly from your pay and receive instant tax benefits that reduce your payable PAYE. It’s an easy way to give regularly, while also getting the tax rebates that you are entitled to.
If your donation is over $5 you receive one third of the donation as an immediate tax rebate. The main benefit of Payroll giving over other forms of donating is that you receive your tax advantages immediately, rather than waiting until the end of the tax year.
Payroll giving is a scheme available to employers who file their IRD Employer Monthly Schedule EMS(IR348) and Deduction Form EDF(IR345) online using ir-File.
If you would like to offer your employees the opportunity to donate to Hospice West Auckland via their earnings, you can do this when filing online.

If your workplace is not signed up for payroll giving, you can refer your employer to seek information from the Inland Revenue.
If your employer does offer a payroll giving scheme and you want to join, simply request that your employer contact us to establish an arrangement.
