Remembering our favourite Christmas memories with Trees of Remembrance

What are your favourite memories of Christmas and the summer holidays? For many people they’re tied up in memories of people and places. For people who have lost someone, Christmas can be the most difficult time of year.

Our Trees of Remembrance will once again be around West Auckland, offering you a chance to remember your loved ones and favourite Christmas memories, while also ensuring the people cared for by Hospice West Auckland get the best possible care.

Our national partner Farmers will again be hosting Trees of Remembrance at their Henderson, New Lynn and NorthWest stores, from 21 November.

And, from 1 December you’ll find trees around West Auckland. Please refer to the map below for exact locations.

We are still looking for volunteers for our community Trees of Remembrance, so if you can spare three hours, please get in touch with our team at hospice@hwa.org.nz to check what shifts are available.

Finally, if you can’t make it to a tree or would like to make an additional donation, you can pin your star to our online tree
