Light Up Hospice 2016

Hospice West Auckland’s annual Christmas Lights Display ‘Light Up Hospice’ will begin on 7 December and run through to Christmas. The annual event provides a beacon of light and joy and is popular with the local community and with the many people who travel to see the building lit up.

Chief Executive Barbara Williams says the lights are a fitting end to the year, providing a chance to share Christmas joy and also acknowledge those we’ve lost. “For the people we care for Christmas can be the hardest time of year. We encourage everyone to take a stroll or drive past our building, lit up for Christmas, and remember those they’ve lost or are missing, as well as take the opportunity to reconnect with those around them. It’s such a special time and we’re very grateful to our sponsors for their ongoing support.”

The Hospice lights will be twinkling from Wednesday 7 December. Please make time to visit and remember those you love and miss this Christmas. If you’d like to help us keep the lights burning, please visit our online remembrance tree at www.everymomentcounts.org.nz.

Thank you to Morrison Funeral Homes, Maitland & Associates, Ray White Te Atatu, Western Gas Ltd, John Andrew Ford and Mazda, Rothbury Insurance Brokers, Office Products Depot and Kennards Hire for their generous support.
