Volunteering

Become a Hospice West Auckland Volunteer

Volunteering is a rewarding and empowering way to make a difference to someone's life.

Volunteering can bring meaning and purpose to you and those around you.

At Hospice West Auckland we interact with people from all walks of life, so your life experience, skill or talent may be just what we are looking for.

Time is one of the most precious things we can give each other, and often having the time to make a cuppa for a patient, or stop for a chat with a family/whanau member or serve someone in one of our shops is a wonderful gift. You may like to be behind the scenes or have limited time to give,  there is room for everyone on our volunteer team.

Volunteers are held in high regard at Hospice West Auckland, they are valued for the contribution they make.  All of our volunteers attend an orientation to Hospice programme and we provide specialist training in specific areas when required.
